클래쉬는 펑크(Punk)의 전설같은 밴드이다. 그들의 앨범 London Calling은 섹스 피스톨즈의 데뷔앨범에 결코 뒤지지 않는다. 조 스트러머 또한 자니 로튼보다 못하지 않고 말이다.

처음 런던콜링의 앨범 자켓을 보았을 때 다분히 선동적이고 파괴적이라는 느낌을 받았지만 펑크의 매력은 솔직하고 직선적이라는 데에 있다. 선동적이고 말이다.
